A Sichuan restaurant at the bottom of Manhattan Avenue, open since 2023, that also borrows from Shanghai — so crab soup dumplings share the table with fiery stews. The kitchen adds new dishes twice a year, and its October 2026 menu brought in more Sichuan staples that are hard to find in the neighborhood.

Mapo tofu with pork is the classic cure for a rough morning; at dinner, share the whole bass in spicy bean paste or the tea-smoked duck, and end with sweet rice wine soup. On weekdays there's a lunch special.

Editor’s tip

Go with friends, order the whole fish and the duck to share, and ask what's new on the seasonal menu.
