IllustrationFort Greene's Parisian bistro since 2013, on the corner across from Fort Greene Park. Inside are red leather booths and a marble bar; outside, a big sidewalk patio that stays heated in winter and fills with brunch tables well into the afternoon. In warmer months there is live jazz on Tuesday nights.
The menu is classic French — steak frites, oysters, a croque monsieur at brunch — with a well-chosen list of natural wines. Its sister wine bar, Petit Paulette, is a few doors down for a glass while you wait.
Editor’s tip
Walk the park first, then take a patio table for steak frites; on a warm Tuesday, come for the jazz.
