FLATIRON & NOMAD, MANHATTAN

Cote

Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse in the Flatiron — tableside grills, a dry-aging room and the Butcher's Feast.

Simon Kim's Korean steakhouse crosses a Seoul barbecue with an American chophouse: grills set into every table, a dark, moody room, a long wine list, and a glass-walled aging room downstairs where the beef hangs. It holds a Michelin star and is busy nearly every night.

Order the Butcher's Feast. Your server grills the cuts at the table — hanger, dry-aged ribeye and more — with banchan, kimchi, a doenjang stew and a puffed egg soufflé, then vanilla soft serve to close. Before or after, go down to Undercote, the cocktail bar on the lower level.

Editor’s tip

Book the Butcher's Feast and save room for the soft serve; have a drink at Undercote first.
