HELL'S KITCHEN, MANHATTAN
Kung Fu Little Steamed Buns Ramen
Hand-pulled noodles and dumplings by the Theater District — fast, packed, Michelin Bib Gourmand.
In the Theater District, where cheap and good rarely meet, this always-packed room has been pulling noodles since 2013. The name is a mouthful, the mural of cartoon diners is cheerful, and the kitchen keeps the room turning over quickly.
Hand-pulled and knife-cut noodles, stir-fried or in soup, are the core of the menu. Michelin's inspectors also single out the herb-flecked pork and shrimp wonton soup, the pan-fried Peking duck bundles and scallion pancakes wrapped around sliced beef — and a long list of dumplings.
Editor’s tip
Order hand-pulled noodles stir-fried and the pork and shrimp wonton soup before a show.
