IllustrationThe second home of a Jackson Heights favorite, set in the old Mitica space near the north end of Franklin Street, with a breezy back patio and a bar that turns out excellent micheladas. It's a Mexican seafood place made for long, loud afternoons.
Aguachile is the reason to come — negro, verde or rojo, served in a molcajete with fresh tostadas, and hotter than it first lets on. Round it out with cheesy shrimp tacos and the squid ceviche, and keep the Coronas coming.
Editor’s tip
Go on a warm afternoon, sit on the back patio and order one aguachile per two people.
