GREENPOINT, BROOKLYN
Me and Paul's
The original Paulie Gee's, reborn in 2026 as a pool-table tavern still firing the same wood-oven pies.

IllustrationThis is the room where Paulie Gee's started in 2010 and helped make Greenpoint a pizza destination. In 2026 the team behind Skinny Dennis and Rocka Rolla reworked it into a neighborhood tavern — a long bar, booths, a jukebox and a pool table — and reopened it on April 30 under a new name.
The wood-fired, Neapolitan-style pies are the same ones that built the reputation, now served in a looser bar setting. Order a pie and a cold beer at the bar, put something on the jukebox, and stay for a game of pool.
Editor’s tip
Come late, order a pie at the bar and claim the pool table while it's free.
