IllustrationPartners started in Williamsburg in 2012, when two childhood friends opened a roastery, education lab and café on North 6th Street. The company has since grown well beyond Brooklyn, and its Bedford Avenue café keeps a foot in the neighborhood where it began.
Come for a carefully made espresso or a filter coffee from the current single origins, and pick up a bag of beans on the way out. It is a short walk from the Bedford Avenue L, which makes it an easy first stop on a Williamsburg day.
