From the people behind Casa Enrique in Long Island City, a tiny Mexican seafood bar on Bedford Street: about twenty stools packed around a bar, and a menu made almost entirely of small plates.

Order the aguachile negro with scallops, the fluke ceviche, and one to three crab tostadas. Add guacamole with serrano, and the enmoladas if you want one thing that didn't come from the sea. A classic margarita or the carajillo goes with all of it.

Editor’s tip

Sit at the bar as a pair and order four or five plates to share.
