IllustrationA Japanese-owned walk-up sushi window on Park Place that has fed Crown Heights since 2014. Its invention is the Silver Rice Cup: a takeout coffee cup filled with warm sushi rice and your choice of fish, made for eating on the couch or on a bench in the park.
Get the spicy salmon cup, with big chunks of buttery fish. Rolls, chirashi bowls and salads fill out the menu, along with imported Japanese beer and sake. The bag reads "Sushi Made Me Do It."
Editor’s tip
Take a spicy salmon cup to go and eat it on the walk to Prospect Park or the Brooklyn Museum.
