Twenty-one rotating taps in a pine-clad Danish room — Brooklyn's beer-nerd standard.

IllustrationA pine-clad, Danish-designed bar that is about as far from a grimy beer hall as it gets, and one of the most respected beer bars in the city. Twenty-one rotating draft lines pour from a wall of taps behind the bar, and the bottle and can list runs past two hundred, from everyday favorites to rare finds.
Ask the bartender for something you haven't had before. To eat, the Danish hot dog with pickles and crispy onions is the standout, and the fried chicken sandwich has its own following. The program has grown to include cocktails, natural wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
Editor’s tip
Come at happy hour, order a taster and the Danish hot dog, and let the bartender pick your next pour.
