A working tortilla factory on Starr Street with tacos on its own fresh tortillas — and BYOB.
This is a tortilla factory first and a taqueria second. The tortillas are made on site, and up front there are a few plain tables where you can eat them fresh. It sits a block from the Bushwick Collective's murals.
Get tacos — steak and chorizo above all — on those warm tortillas, plus a tostada piled with refried beans, meat, avocado and crema. Quesadillas come with avocado folded in. The red hot sauce is made in-house. It's BYOB, cheap, and exactly as unglamorous as it should be.
