WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN
Artists & Fleas Williamsburg
Williamsburg's weekend institution — a warehouse of makers, vintage, and vinyl since 2003.
Since 2003, a former warehouse a block off the Bedford Avenue strip has filled every weekend with several dozen stalls of makers, vintage dealers, and collectors — the market that helped define the Williamsburg that everyone came looking for. Artists & Fleas is indoors and year-round, which matters in February, and the mix rotates weekend to weekend: hand-made jewelry next to crates of records, vintage denim across from a letterpress table, old cameras, concert tees, ceramics.
It shops like a flea market but edits like a boutique — vendors apply for their tables, so the junk-to-treasure ratio runs far better than a true flea, while the haggling-adjacent, cash-friendly looseness survives. For bargain hunters the vintage and vinyl stalls are the draw; for everyone else it's the best single room for finding a gift that didn't come from an algorithm.
Entry is free, the room hums, and the Bedford L delivers you two blocks away. Go in with twenty minutes; it will take an hour.
Editor’s tip
The vendor lineup rotates, so ask your favorite stall if they're back next weekend — and hit the record crates early, before the DJs do.
