IllustrationIn a former bodega on Onderdonk Avenue, Honey Moon is a coffee shop, a record store and a bookstore at once. The books, new and used, are curated on rotation with the people behind Molasses Books; the LPs are for sale; and some evenings there is live music.
Honey Moon roasts its own coffee and favors balanced blends, so start with a cup of the house coffee and a pastry from whichever local bakery is in rotation. There is a small laptop zone by the door and tables for friends at the main bar.
Editor’s tip
Flip through the record bins while your coffee is made, and check Instagram for evening shows.
