An old-school dive on East Houston with Christmas lights strung through the front room, sports on the screens, a pool table and a crowd that stays easygoing even when it gets full. Through the back is a performance room with a stage and a dance floor, booked with bands and parties most nights.

Order a cheap beer, put your name on the pool table, and check what is on in the back. Wednesday is trivia. It stays open late every night, which makes it a dependable last stop after dinner anywhere nearby.
