IllustrationA natural wine and oyster bar that opened in 2025 on a corner of Halsey Street, in a landmarked building with big windows. It was opened by a Parisian hospitality veteran, and the bar staff are very French in the best way — happy to tease your pronunciation of jambon.
The reason to come is the early-evening oyster happy hour, served only at the bar, with a glass of French white. It is also a good last-minute stop for a sage and orange spritz, or a bottle while you wait for a table at Saraghina across the street; bottles start lower than at most places nearby.
Editor’s tip
Arrive at the start of happy hour, take a bar seat, and pair oysters with whatever white they suggest.
