JACKSON HEIGHTS, QUEENS
Jackson Hole (Astoria Boulevard)
The chrome Queens diner from Goodfellas' first truck heist, now a Jackson Hole burger joint.
See current Google rating & reviews ↗This 1950s stainless-steel diner on Astoria Boulevard was the Airline Diner when Goodfellas came to film, and its parking lot is where Henry and Tommy steal their first truck, the driver having left it running with the keys inside. The Jackson Hole burger family bought it in 1988, kept the chrome, and still runs it as one of their restaurants.
Order what Jackson Hole has been known for since 1972: a thick seven-ounce burger, with a milkshake, in a booth. It is a short ride from LaGuardia, which makes it an easy first or last stop of a trip.
Editor’s tip
Sit in a window booth and look out at the lot where the truck scene was filmed.
