NADC Burger is a compact burger shop on Cleveland Place in Nolita, the New York outpost of a cult burger brand founded by professional skateboarder Neen Williams and Michelin-starred chef Phillip Frankland Lee. The name stands for Not a Damn Chance, and the menu is famously short: a wagyu cheeseburger in single or double form, fries cooked in beef tallow, and a cookie. That focus is the point. The burger began as a collaboration between the two founders and has since grown into shops in cities including Austin, Chicago, Los Angeles, Nashville and Las Vegas. Here, on a lively triangle of downtown streets just steps from Kenmare Street, it fits neatly into the neighborhood's rhythm of quick, serious food.

Featured by the YouTuber New York Turk in 2025, NADC keeps ordering simple. The signature NADC Burger is 100 percent wagyu beef with real American cheese, secret sauce, onions, pickles and what the menu calls slightly tamed jalapeños, offered as a single or a double. Add the beef tallow fries, which come with a chipotle-peppered ketchup, or go for the Beast Mode Fries, loaded with cheese, diced pickles, jalapeños and special sauce. A brown butter chocolate chip cookie finishes things off, and there is a kids' burger for younger diners. Modifications are allowed if you would rather skip the heat. It is an ideal quick lunch between SoHo shops or an easy bite before an evening out in Nolita.

Editor’s tip

Get the double with Beast Mode Fries to share, then cross Kenmare for a taco if you are on a downtown snack crawl.
