WILLIAMSBURG, BROOKLYN
The William Vale
A Williamsburg tower where every room has a private balcony, crowned by the Westlight rooftop bar.

The William Vale has been part of the Williamsburg skyline since 2016, a sculptural tower on North 12th Street whose most memorable feature is the one you find in your room: every room and suite has a private balcony. Interiors lean bright and modern, and the building holds a green space and herb garden that overlooks the city. In the warmer months, the seasonal Vale Pool turns the upper levels into a retreat above Brooklyn, and the whole place takes on the easy rhythm of a long summer weekend.
Westlight, the rooftop bar, is the reason many people first visit, with Manhattan views and a full kitchen. Downstairs, Leuca serves Southern Italian cooking for dinner and weekend brunch, and Little Fino is the all-day cafe and bar. It suits couples, friends on a Brooklyn weekend and anyone who wants Williamsburg's restaurants, shops and waterfront parks within a few blocks, with Manhattan's skyline framed from their own balcony every night of the stay.
Editor’s tip
Go up to Westlight before sunset for the Manhattan view, then walk a few blocks west to the waterfront parks.
