The newest glass in Mott Haven opened in September 2026 on Bruckner Boulevard, in the space that used to be SoBro Juice. Pour BX is the first hospitality venture for Cyndi Bajema, a retired aerospace engineer who fell for wine while working for a winery owner, and Vish Beasmoney, who grew up near Intervale Avenue and spent twenty years in the mattress business. They met in 2022 talking horses at the Belmont races.

It is a small room by design — twenty seats, eight of them at a marble-topped bar. The by-the-glass list runs from familiar Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc to Sardinian Cannonau, Nero d'Avola and Nebbiolo, and flights of three short pours make it easy to compare. Food is bar-sized: a charcuterie or cheese board, Cubano sliders, flatbreads, chorizo with Manchego. There is cold beer and non-alcoholic wine for anyone who wants it.

Editor’s tip

Sit at the bar and order a flight of three — ask for one wine you've never heard of.
