Stack'd Burger is an independent halal burger and wings shop on Nevins Street in Downtown Brooklyn, steps from the subway and the shopping streets around Fulton Mall. The house line is a steakhouse-quality burger at an affordable price, and the kitchen backs it up: patties are made fresh in house every day and cooked to order at the temperature you ask for, from medium-rare to well done. Every ingredient is halal, and the restaurant says its beef and poultry are grass fed and free of added hormones. The room is cozy and clean, with enough seats to settle in, and it draws a mix of students, families and neighborhood regulars looking for a proper sit-down burger.

The menu leans into specialty stacks. Reviewers on the restaurant's site mention the Heart Attack Burger, a double cheeseburger with bacon, onion rings and barbecue sauce, the Brooklyn Burger with grilled mushrooms, Swiss and garlic aioli, and the Porter Burger with blue cheese and caramelized onions; the Texas and Volcano burgers have fans too. Do not skip the wings, hand cut and marinated for sixteen hours in a house spice blend. Seasoned fries, loaded fries, onion rings and milkshakes round things out. Stack'd Burger was featured by the YouTuber New York Turk in 2025 on a halal burger tour. Order ahead online for pickup if you are short on time.

Editor’s tip

Order your burger medium; the kitchen cooks to temperature, which is rare for a casual burger shop.
