CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN
Lightscape at Brooklyn Botanic Garden
An after-dark trail of light installations and music through the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, new for 2026.

Once the Brooklyn Botanic Garden closes for the day, Lightscape takes over: a winding after-dark trail of large-scale light installations, set to music, through the garden's lawns, allées and water features. The 2026 edition is a new trail, billed as a love letter to the garden and its four seasons, and the route is wheelchair accessible. Under the bare trees it feels nothing like the daytime garden.
Lightscape runs November 20, 2026, through January 3, 2027. Tickets are timed, and adults pay $29 on Value nights, $39 Off-Peak and $44 Peak as of October 2026, with children 3 to 11 from $15 and babies free; prices include fees. Early-season weeknights are the Value nights, and the cheapest, least crowded way in. Allow about 90 minutes. Parking at 900 Washington Avenue is limited, so take the 2 or 3 train to Eastern Parkway. Exchanges are possible for a fee, but there are no refunds, so check the forecast before you book.
