Crane Club
Melissa Rodriguez's wood-fired Chelsea dining room, with a tableside raw-bar cart and dry-aged steaks.
See current Google rating & reviews ↗Crane Club occupies 85 Tenth Avenue in West Chelsea, the building where chef Melissa Rodriguez and restaurateur Jeff Katz opened Al Coro in 2022. The pair created Crane Club with Tao Group Hospitality, and the Michelin Guide describes a handsome bar and a large dining room with banquettes and dark scarlet curtains.
Rodriguez cooks over wood fire on a 12-foot custom Mibrasa grill. The à la carte menu runs from a tableside raw-bar cart and caviar service to pastas such as spaghetti frutti di mare, 30-day dry-aged steaks and a long list of vegetable and potato sides, with larger family-style "feasts" also offered.
Editor’s tip
Reservations on OpenTable take parties of up to eight à la carte; the 50 oz dry-aged porterhouse ($275) is built for the table.
