bōm

A violet chef's counter with built-in grills, hidden behind Oiji Mi — Korean tasting menu meets steakhouse.

Tucked behind Oiji Mi — the name is short for "behind Oiji Mi" and also means spring in Korean — bōm is a soaring, deep-violet room built around a marble counter with grills set into it. Steaks dry-age in a glass chamber in full view. It holds a Michelin star.

The ten-course menu starts with delicate seafood and vegetable courses, then turns to beef — cuts of different ages grilled in front of you — and finishes with hansang charim, the traditional full table of rice, banchan and soup, before dessert. It is a Korean steakhouse reimagined as a tasting counter.
