Crevette is the third restaurant from Patricia Howard and chef Ed Szymanski, the team behind Dame and Lord's. It sits on Downing Street at Sixth Avenue, and the Michelin Guide notes white tablecloths, cream walls, a wide dining room and a separate bar, where seats are held for walk-ins.

The menu draws on the coasts of France, Spain and Italy and changes often. Recent listings include a petit plateau of chilled shellfish, peekytoe crab agnolotti, bouillabaisse maison, Dover sole with brown butter and a dry-aged ribeye for two, with fior di latte soft serve among the desserts. Weekend brunch runs Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

Editor’s tip

Bar seats are held for walk-ins, so stop by for a martini and oysters if Resy is full.
