IllustrationMorris Park's Italian dining room of record is not the checkered-tablecloth kind. Patricia's has high ceilings, exposed brick and a semi-open kitchen built around a brick oven, and it has served the neighborhood for decades. The MICHELIN Guide lists it among the five Bronx restaurants in its 2026 selection, and it takes reservations, which makes it the neighborhood's choice for birthdays and anniversaries.
The menu is long — pizzas, pastas, seafood, cutlets — so pick a lane. The brick oven turns out pies with blistered, lightly charred crusts; the Regina, with buffalo mozzarella, is the one to judge it by. Seafood risotto is a house favorite, and the rigatoni alla vodka and chicken parm satisfy anyone who came for classics. Leave room for cannoli. There is a second Patricia's on East Tremont Avenue in Throggs Neck, but this is the original room.
Editor’s tip
Order a Regina pizza for the table first, then share the seafood risotto.
